Upcoming Events:

GriefShare - Thursdays from 2 - 4 pm
Have you lost a loved one in the past? Do you wish to have a safe place to share your feelings of grief and loss in a supportive environment with others who have experienced loss?

On Thursday, May 24 we have a new Griefshare Support Group starting at the Portage United Methodist Church. This support group is for anyone who has suffered a loss in their life, whether it be something recent or a loss that happened some time ago.

Meetings are weekly, in a support group format, every Thursday from 2-4 pm from May 24 - August 16. Note we are off on Thursday, July 5 in observance of Independence Day. These meetings are open ended, which means you can join at any time - you won't miss a thing!

If interested in joining or you want to know more information, please call Misty McMorrow at 608-742-2107. You can also register online now - a new feature! Just go to, click on “Find a Group” and search for our group in Portage, Wisconsin.

We hope you will join us!

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is July 30th-August 3rd from 8:30-11:30am. Registration and volunteer forms are available at the VBS table as you enter the church or at the other participating churches (River of Life, Crosspoint Assembly, Portage Presbyterian, St. Mary Portage & Briggsville, and Bethlehem Lutheran).

Our theme this year is "Shipwrecked - Rescued by Jesus!" Kids will learn that no matter what they are going through, Jesus is there for them - Jesus rescues!

There are NO walk-in volunteer forms accepted this year - sorry for the inconvenience!

We can also be found on YouTube. For past sermons visit Rev. Tom Countryman on YouTube.
